This series is my own healing from the extensive losses from AIDS in the 1990s. The main essence is a single dead bird, enlarged, delicate and beautiful, inviting close examination. The bird is joined by three boxes like ideograms in a natural history museum referring to essential elements—here personal references of departed friends.
