The intersections of the universal and the personal and of time and place can have tremendous significance. Influences unseen and beyond my time—those of ancestors and natural forces and intersecting cultures—provide markers. These can be new points of departure.

This series has been made into an edition from scans of the original images; the digital prints are 11 x 8.8 inches on 19 x 13 inch Epson Velvet paper. The edition size is 25.
